In fact, it’s one of the biggest swimwear trends for summer 2021, according to Lyst. Searches for ‘terry’ one pieces and bikinis have been risen by 66% in the past month collectively.
The most popular brands? Frankies Bikinis and Lisa Marie Fernandez, which both have a selection of gorgeous terry swimwear just in time for summer. Ever since they launched collections using the fabric last year, we’ve been keeping an eye out on all things terry. We’re glad other brands like Free People and ASOS have followed suit.
It’s not exactly the fabric that first comes to mind when you think of summer dressing — it’s definitely heavier than linen — but it dries just as quickly, making it perfect for a post-swim sunbathe session in the sweltering summer heat.
