We’re sure you’ve seen that upside-down bikini worn by Khloe Kardashian on Instagram, but how did she do it?
Whether you’re a fan or not, there’s no denying that the Kardashian-Jenners have a Midas touch when it comes to trends. Whatever they wear instantly becomes a must-have item.
The latest, as you may already have guessed, is the upside-down bikini – and it’s not just the thousands of comments under Khloe, Kylie and Kendall’s Instagram photos that prove it. Lyst says searches for the bikini style spiked 150% within the week Khloe posted her pic.

The top Khloe was wearing is by Sommer Swim in the now sold-out style Kaia Provenza, which retails for £59.54.
If you’re gutted it’s no longer available and still want to get the look, you can do it with pretty much any of your triangle bikini tops.
How to DIY the upside-down bikini top
You can get the look by putting the gathered part of the top at the sides instead of under the breasts.
If that sounds a bit complicated, here’s a step-by-step.
First, get your favourite halter-neck, triangle bikini top — make sure it’s in a really simple, straightforward style.
Then, flip it upside-down. Tie what’s supposed to be for the lower part as the halter — or you can just tie it at the back for a strapless look — and then tie the string for the top in the back.
Et voila! Your own upside-down bikini top inspired by the Kardashian-Jenners.
Need a top you can wear right away or also DIY? Here are some of our current favourites from Zara, Frankie’s Bikinis, Urban Outfitters and even an upside-down design from ASOS.
