A Comprehensive Guide to Returning Your Mango Order

It’s all fun and games until you have to return your Mango order, am I right?

As someone who lives in a small town, I know first-hand how boring and confusing returning online orders can be.

Luckily practise makes perfect, and from Zara to ASOS, I’ve done them all, becoming a bit of a pro in the process.

I’m not proud of it of course, but if there’s one good thing that can come out of my overspending, it’s being able to share my top tips with you.

Mango is one of my favourite brands to shop at, and as the closest store to me is all the way in London, I have to buy online.

The returns process at the Spanish retailer is relatively easy to get the hang of, but it can be confusing the first time you do it.

How do I return something to Mango?

If you’ve changed your mind, you can return your order to Mango in any of three simple ways – return in store, drop to your local post office or schedule a collection from your house.

Returns to Store

If you live close to a Mango store, you can return or exchange your order there. However you cannot return Mango Home to any Mango stores for refund or exchange, nor can you return to the following stores: Elys, House of Fraser, Fenwick, John Lewis, Tempest, Outlets and the LGW AIRPORT (GATWICK) store.

Bring your delivery note with you, or head to My Purchases to download another one. You’ll need to select the order in question and print out your delivery note from there.

If you don’t have an account, you can enter your email address and order number to do this.

Your refund will then be processed to your original payment method, and this can take a few days.

Home Collection

Another great option is the free home pick-up service. You can request this under Returns from the My Account section on the homepage. Select ‘Home collection’ and you can complete your request there.

If you don’t have an account, you can enter your e-mail address and order number under the My Purchases section. You can click on ‘Request exchange or refund’ and select the ‘Home collection’ option.

Once completed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with full details of the collection.

To ensure the safety of your return, ensure it’s packaged securely and include the delivery note. If you’ve lost it, you can print another one off as detailed above.

You’ll also need to print off the shipping label and attach it to the front of your package. The courier will then collect your package on the arranged date and send it back for you.

It takes 3 to 12 working days for the return to be processed.


Return to the Post Office

Lastly, you can also take your order back to the Post Office to be returned.

Similarly to the above methods, you need to package up your order, include the completed delivery note, and attach the shipping label which was sent to you with your original order to the package.

Take it to the Post Office and it will be returned to you. It takes 3 to 12 working days for the return to be processed.

You can also exchange your order through these methods. You’ll just need to state on the delivery note that you want to exchange your order and detail what option you’d like to exchange it for.

How long do I have to return my order to Mango?

You have up to 30 days to return your order to Mango with any of the methods I’ve detailed above.

How long does a refund from Mango take?

Your refund takes 3 to 12 days if you’re posting your order back via Home Collection or Royal Mail.

If you’re returning your order to the store, it varies. Mango’s website states: ‘Bear in mind that if you return your items to a store, your return details will be sent to our central offices, where the refund will be processed using the same payment method used to purchase the item.’

Are returns to Mango free?

Yes – Mango covers the postage for returns. We’re happy to report Mango is not one of the Brands now charging for returns.

Can I return Mango items without a receipt?

With in-store purchases, Mango encourages ensuring that exchanges and returns follow the same procedure as the original purchase. If the payment was made by credit card, it is necessary to present the original proof of purchase and the transaction receipt.

Kindly note that the garments must be in perfect condition with the price tags intact for both online and in-store purchases.

Items that have been personalized or altered cannot be eligible for exchanges or returns. These items are made exclusively for you and cannot be resold.

Does Mango do a student discount?
