Can I buy tickets to London Fashion Week 2021?

Here's how to get access to the London Fashion Week shows.

Last Updated on May 24, 2021

London Fashion Week is a twice yearly event that showcases collections from new and established designers and sees fashion bloggers, press, buyers, stylists and celebrities come together to revel in British fashion – but how can you get tickets?

The atmosphere is always electric, whether you’re attending shows, photographing street style or watching industry talks.

Unfortunately LFW is not generally open to the public and is invite only, with fashion buyers, editors, trend forecasters and industry leaders being selected by each designer specifically.

However in June and September 2021 it will be digital only, meaning that anyone can watch the shows online. Read about how to watch LFW here.

In normal circumstances, you must apply to attend if you’re a fashion blogger or work in the industry by heading to the LFW website, finding the relevant designer’s press contact and emailing them clearly explaining why you should attend. Applying early is recommended to avoid disappointment.

This year, anyone will be able to watch the catwalk shows in real-time from the comfort of their own home – so there’s no need to get dressed up (although that’s half the fun).

In September designers Richard Quinn, JW Anderson, Marques’ Almeida, Rixo, Vivienne Westwood and Feng Chen Wang – to name a few – held virtual shows for safety reasons, bringing the magic of LFW to the public for the very first time.

However it’s uncertain how accessible LFW will be going forward.

Despite London Fashion Week being an exclusive event, London Fashion Week Festival is open to the public. Ticket prices vary, with front row access or buying insider options to choose from.

It didn’t take place in September 2020 or February this year due to the pandemic.
