When it comes to style and quality, there’s only one brand that offers leggings that tick all the boxes—stretchy, flattering, moisture-wicking fabric, ad comfortable. Founded in 1998, Sweaty Betty has launched a few iconic athleisure pieces over the years that are now bonafide workout favourites, including their popular Power leggings and the Stamina workout bra.
Sweaty Betty leggings are made from squat-proof fabric, which means that they don’t tear easily, they’re not see-through and you can confidently wear them for all types of workouts, from HIIT to yoga. They’re also made with sculpting technology that keep your body supported and leave you feeling confident rather than self-conscious when you hit the gym in the New Year.
This British activewear and lifestyle brand is popular among celebrities like Jennifer Anniston, Tracee Ellis Ross, and even Kate Middleton. Their leggings are no doubt pricey, but if you want the extra support and comfort, then it’s worth the splurge. You’ll hold onto them until they fall apart, but that won’t happen anytime soon.
I don’t exercise as much as I’d like to, but I’ve been looking for comfortable athleisure that will make working out much easier in the New Year. Yep, I’m a walking cliché. But trust me, the last thing you want is to flash your knickers to an entire pilates class when they fail the squat test. You won’t need to worry about that with Sweaty Betty’s leggings. They’re 90% squat-proof, meaning you can feel relaxed during your workout.
Whether you’re a fitness gal or trying to be one, you need leggings that work for all different types of workouts, from lifting weights to finding your flow on the yoga mat. Sweaty Betty has a few different styles to choose from, but below I’m explaining every style so you choose the right one for you.

Therma Boost
As the name suggests, Sweaty Betty’s Therma Boost leggings are made for exercising in winter. They’re water-resistant to protect you from wet weather and they’re ultra-cosy thanks to a fleece-like feel on the inside inside.
They’re usually identifiable from a reflective strip on the seam, which offers increased visibility when you’re working out or running outside in the dark. They’re recycled polyester too and come in two lengths: 7/8 and full length.

Power
Sweaty Betty’s power leggings are the most popular style from the brand as they’re designed to suit every workout, whether you’re running, doing a HIIT class, yoga or pilates. They’re stretchy and offer super flattering seams that sculpt your legs and butt. Not only that, but they’re sweat-wicking, dry quickly and offer breathability too.
My favourite feature? I love that they have a pocket. I store my phone here during my workouts and it fits perfectly. These also come in both full length and 7/8, ideal for those under 5″4. That said, I’m 5″7 and just love how they look in a shorter length.

Super Soft
The super soft leggings are ideal for yoga, although they can be used for a variety of workouts. The most important thing is that, as the name suggests, they’re super soft and offer sculpting and support. You don’t need to worry about flashing your knickers as they’re 90% squat proof, and they’re breathable and sweat-wicking too. You can adjust them with an internal drawcord, and yes – these have pockets too.

All Day
Sweaty Betty’s All Day leggings are a little bit cheaper than their counterparts at £70 and worth every penny. They’re so comfy, you can wear them all day – hence the name. They’re ultra-lightweight, sweat-wicking and dry quickly post-workout, while being flattering too with a high-rise fit. If you’re wearing these all day, you’ll need somewhere to store your phone. Luckily there’s a slip pocket at the waist.

Zero Gravity
Last but by no means least, we have Sweaty Betty’s award-winning Zero Gravity leggings. These are ideal for running and sweaty workouts, as they’re made from lightweight, quick-drying and high compression fabric, which offers UV40+ protection too. They have not just one pocket, but three – a back zip pocket and two side slip pockets for storing your keys and phone when you head out on a run.
They’re high-rise and offer an adjustable waist, as well as having a reflective detail that is designed to mimic kinesiology tape for extra support and compression.
