What to expect from Iris Apfel x H&M
While there are not any images of the designs yet, it’s safe to say it will be as colourful as Iris’ unique style.
The star, who has had a long career in fashion and interiors, has a distinct maximalist style.
Colours, textures, patterns — her style is the epitome of more is more, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing that in the upcoming collection.
H&M have revealed that he collection will consist of an “assortment of eclectic dresses, sets and extensive accessories” created with the star’s “bold sense of style.”
The pieces will be affordable and accessible for all ages and sizes.
Speaking about the collection, creative adviser at H&M Ann-Sofie Johansson says: “The collection is playful, opulent and rich with vibrant colours, vivid prints and opulent fabric choices.
“The look is indulgent with a more is more attitude and is crowned by over-the-top jewellery, which is very much a signum for Iris.”
When is Iris Apfel x H&M launching?
This one’s good news or bad news, depending on how you look at it. Good news because we can prepare for it, but bad news because it is still a while away away.
The collection is slated for a spring 2022 release. No precise month has been confirmed, but we’re hoping it starts off as soon as the season because Iris’ style is perfect for spring summer.
