London Fashion Week (LFW) is undoubtedly one of the most exciting events of the year — not just in the fashion capital, but worldwide.
I’m sure you’re as curious as I am about the details of the showcase. Where does London Fashion Week take place? When does it happen? Which brands are showcasing their collections?
We answer those questions below!
Where does London Fashion Week take place?
London Fashion Week is held in different places in Britain’s capital, but its hub, where most of the activities are held, is at Somerset House, 180 The Strand, London.
Since the onset of the pandemic, the shows have also taken a digital route. This year, along with physical shows, there were also shows streamed online for everyone to watch at home.

How do you get invited to London Fashion Week?
Most shows are by invite only. Designers’ press teams send these to their guests directly.
However, fashion industry leaders — journalists, fashion buyers, and more — can request to be accredited in order to view their preferred shows. Should you wish to apply, you may do so on the London Fashion Week website.
Is London Fashion Week open to the public?
In a way, it has been in the past couple of years.
With many designers opting to stream their collections online, we all get to take part in LFW even without invites or accreditation.
