Ordered something from H&M you now want to return? Been there, done that.
With Black Friday arriving soon, H&M will be one of thousands of outlets offering sales and discounts so the temptation to buy will be greater than ever. The good news is that H&M, like Zara and ASOS, has a clear and effective returns policy, which we go through now.
I’ve gone through all the most common struggles when online shopping and used to find myself Googling the answers, so I’ve become an expert.
I figured I’d share all my knowledge here for those of you struggling to work out how to send back your H&M order. It’s a piece of cake once you get the hang of it.
Please note we are not affiliated with H&M so can’t help you directly with your order.
Wear Next may receive a small commission if you click a link from one of our articles onto a retail website and make a purchase.
How to return your H&M order
Returning your H&M order is easy. The brand uses Royal Mail and Evri (formerly known as Hermes), and there’s also options whether you have a printer or not.
To start off your return, login to the returns portal or find the relevant order under your account. You’ll see an option to ‘return an item.’
If you opt for the returns portal option, you’ll be required to enter the order number. You can find this in your order confirmation from the brand or in your account on the website.
You’ll then tick the items you want to send back, give a reason why you’re returning it and enter the quantity. Click proceed.
Next, you’ll be given a selection of methods to choose from. You can either drop your order off to the Post Office, an Evri carrier near you or arrange a collection through Evri.
Once you choose the right option for you, you’ll either be sent a label to print off and attach to your package, or you’ll be sent a QR code. This can be shown to at the Post Office, where they’ll print off a label for you.
Orders collected from your home require a printer.
If you change your mind about returning an item, don’t panic. If you don’t send it, nothing will happen.
If you’re sending other items back but decide to keep one, there’s no need to inform the brand either.
Where can I drop off H&M returns?
You can either drop off your H&M order to the Post Office or to an Evri ParcelShop point near you.
