Looking to add a little more colour to your wardrobe? Colour block shirts are the perfect way to do it.

We all love a classic white shirt, but there’s no doubt that colourful shirts add a little something to an outfit. As bright colours, bold prints and kitsch jewellery continues to take the fashion reigns in 2021, I’ve noticed oversized shirts in pink, green, red and pretty much every colour under the sun is another maximalist staple that the coolest girls in fashion are wearing.

Copenhagen-based stylist Emili Sindlev has been spotted wearing countless shirts in red, orange and green, while celebrity stylist Nana Acheampong wears Valentino’s silk pink shirt.

Designers including Jill Sander, Miu Miu, Valentino, Roksanda and Bottega Veneta are just some of those which championed colour blocking in their SS21 shows, leading to the high street to follow suit. We clearly have an appetite for it, as our obsession for The Attico’s neon blazers and shoes proves.
