Sunglasses might seem like a simple detail, but they have the ability to transform an outfit. Confidence boosting and stylish, they’re also a necessary and practical staple for a summer wardrobe – a perfect excuse to invest in a new pair for 2021.

This season they don’t disappoint. From oversized shades, to tinted aviators, there’s a style to suit every face shape – but the real hero of the year is the rectangular shape. These work on round and heart-shaped faces, while oval faces suit square shades better.

In the other end of the shades spectrum, it seems we can’t escape the androgynous look – and why would we want to? Whether it’s a pair of half-moon sunglasses, or the subtle angular addition to the beloved cat-eye shape, our shades are getting a slick update.
